Field Manager - Commercial Cleaning
Location: Southampton / Portsmouth
Pay: £13.94 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm
Start Date: ASAP

Are you an experienced Field Manager, Cleaning Supervisor or Cleaning Team Leader looking for your next opportunity?
Our client is a professional commercial cleaning services company, providing cleaning solutions across a range of commercial, communal and residential sites. They are currently looking for a Field Manager to join their operations team and help ensure high standards of service are consistently maintained across their client sites.
The RoleAs a Field Manager, you will be responsible for monitoring cleaning standards across commercial sites, supporting frontline cleaning teams and maintaining strong relationships with both clients and colleagues.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Monitoring cleaning standards across commercial sites
- Carrying out regular audits and inspections of services and staff performance
- Coordinating with operations staff to prioritise daily work
- Supporting cleaning teams to deliver an excellent frontline service
- Responding to customer requests, resolving issues and correcting service errors
- Monitoring cleaning contracts and reporting to the relevant manager
- Ensuring services are delivered in line with relevant Health & Safety and statutory requirements
- Providing and facilitating training to ensure staff have the appropriate skills
- Covering cleaning duties when staff are absent or on holiday
- Completing required administration accurately and within deadlines
- Maintaining company equipment and supplies
- Ensuring the company vehicle is kept clean, stocked and maintained, including completing regular vehicle checks
- Building positive working relationships with clients, colleagues and cleaning staff
- Proactively identifying and addressing potential service issues
The successful candidate will be a practical, proactive and approachable individual with strong communication and leadership skills.
You'll ideally have:
- Previous experience within commercial cleaning, cleaning supervision, facilities or a similar operational environment
- Experience supervising or managing staff
- Strong customer service and relationship-building skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Good leadership and time-management skills
- The ability to prioritise workload and work independently
- A proactive approach to resolving problems and service issues
- Good attention to detail and organisational skills
- A full, clean driving licence - essential
