As our Operations Manager, based at Eastleigh, you will lead and oversee all operational functions of the business, ensuring high standards of production efficiency, quality, cost control, and on‑time delivery.

• Lead and manage production and planning to achieve business objectives.
• Own operational KPIs, driving a culture of 5S and continuous improvement.
• Work closely with production managers to ensure adherence to health & safety, quality, and cost targets.
• Oversee production scheduling, capacity planning, and resource allocation.
• Collaborate with sales to ensure operational plans meet customer demand and delivery schedules.
• Adherence to compliance requirements for export controls.
• Adherence to Quality Management System (QMS) in line with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and EN 9100 requirements.
• Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency.
• Manage operational budgets, controlling costs while maintaining quality and service.
• Provide leadership and coaching to direct reports, ensuring clear communication of objectives.

This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills to ensure operational excellence while fostering a safe, productive, and engaged workforce.

• The ability to influence and drive change.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• The ability to make data‑driven decisions under pressure.
• Significant experience managing operations within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles, 5S, and continuous improvement tools.
• Financial and commercial acumen related to operational performance.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
