Are you an experienced digital whizz with a passion for engaging a wide range of audiences? As Digital and Social Media Manager, no two days are the same. You’ll take a lead role in delivering strategies, plans and content to support Abri’s corporate strategy, manage and develop our online platforms, create effective and engaging content and advise the organisation on the best use of our digital channels.
In a world where our communications with all of our audiences, from customers and colleagues to stakeholders and the media, are increasingly digital, we’re looking for someone who can make sure Abri is front and centre, whether that’s through SEO, engagement campaigns or by enhancing our external reputation and influence.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone to join our fast‑paced communications team, who has both the technical and organisational skills to help us communicate effectively through our online channels. In a regulated sector, it’s critical that we’re open and transparent about our performance, maintain compliance and keep our customers up to date.
We’re looking for someone able to work both strategically as well as taking a hands‑on approach. You must be a motivated, solutions‑focused individual with experience working in a similar role, with the ability to build excellent working relationships.
This role can be based from our offices in Yeovil, Eastleigh, Bracknell or London, but regular travel across Abri’s geography will be essential.
Who we areAbri is a large housing provider who owns and manages over 58,000 homes and various community assets, serving around 113,000 customers across the South of England.
We believe everyone has the right to a good quality safe, warm and sustainable home in a community where they can belong, grow and thrive. What does that look like in real terms?
We’re investing £689m over the next ten years in our existing homes to improve building safety and make them more energy efficient.
We’re delivering 10,000 homes by 2030, ensuring affordable housing is built where it’s needed most.
We’re investing in our communities, to address local issues and create opportunities for everyone.
As we grow, we’re re‑establishing our strong local presence to provide a really good service. Abri has adopted a regional approach to service delivery, with our operating areas split into three, each with its local governance and leadership. This will ensure our colleagues are more visible, accountable and better connected to our customers and local communities to meet their diverse needs.
