I’m currently working with a respected housing provider who is looking to appoint an experienced Homeowner Services Officer to join their Specialist Residential Services team on a temporary basis.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a leasehold professional with strong technical knowledge who can confidently manage a varied portfolio and provide specialist advice to homeowners.

🔑 The Role
Working from the Eastleigh office, you’ll take ownership of a portfolio of leasehold, freehold and shared ownership properties, acting as the key contact for customers and internal stakeholders.

Key responsibilities include:

Managing a portfolio of homeowner accounts, ensuring high-quality leasehold management services
Investigating and responding to service charge enquiries and disputes
Identifying and resolving breaches of lease and covenant issues
Managing lease extensions, assignments, consents and enfranchisement queries in liaison with legal teams
Providing specialist advice to customers and colleagues on leasehold and shared ownership matters
Handling complex or sensitive cases professionally and proactively🧠 About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:

Strong experience working within leasehold and shared ownership management
Sound knowledge of relevant legislation, including:
Common hold and Leasehold Reform Act 2002
Landlord and Tenant legislation
Building Safety Act 2022
Experience dealing with service charges, lease variations, extensions, breaches and consents
The ability to manage challenging conversations and resolve issues calmly and effectively
Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage a varied caseload⭐ Why Apply?
