Commercial Account Executive

Howden is a global insurance group dedicated to building resilience for individuals, businesses and communities.

• Build rapport with new and existing B2B clients, ranging from sole traders to CEOs.
• Work closely with the Branch Manager to achieve sales objectives.
• Develop new business through marketing, community engagement, networking and client meetings.
• Act as a consultative adviser, fully understanding client requirements and proposing suitable products and solutions.
• Identify opportunities and pursue a ‘path to yes’ for each client engagement.

• Proven track record of winning new business and building long‑lasting B2B relationships.
• Tenacity, business curiosity and the ability to explore new opportunities.
• Excellent listening and questioning skills with a consultative mindset.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic environment.
• Knowledge of insurance products is desirable but not mandatory.
• Professional qualifications such as CII are a plus and will be supported.
