HGV Class 1 Night Driver - South Elmsall, Pontefract People Solutions are currently recruiting for an HGV Class 1 Night Driver to join our well-established retail client based in South Elmsall, Pontefract . This is an excellent opportunity offering competitive rates of pay, ongoing work and the potential to secure a permanent position for the right candidate. This would suit applicants who have worked as an LGV Class 1 Driver , Category CE Driver or Articulated Lorry Driver .

Rates of Pay:
Sunday to Thursday Nights: £21.05 per hour Friday Night: £23.05 per hour Saturday Night: £25.60 per hour Shift Pattern:
Sunday to Saturday operation Guaranteed four shifts per week Rolling rota Start times between 4:00pm and 11:30pm Benefits:

Your duties as an HGV Class 1 Night Driver are:
Conducting trunk runs safely and efficiently Operating Class 1 vehicles in line with company procedures and transport legislation Completing daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects Ensuring vehicles are clean, roadworthy and well presented Safely loading and securing goods before departure Adhering to all health, safety and compliance standards Completing all relevant transport documentation accurately Maintaining professional communication with transport and site teams Essential

Skills:

To be successful as an HGV Class 1 Night Driver , you will need: A valid UK Category CE Licence A valid CPC Card A valid Digital Tachograph Card A minimum of 12 months' Category CE driving experience No more than six penalty points No major endorsement codes, including IN, DR, DD or TT Excellent timekeeping and communication skills A professional and reliable attitude A strong understanding of transport compliance and road safety regulations Training:
Successful completion of a driving assessment Two-day paid classroom induction Further practical training alongside a core driver Ongoing support and development throughout your assignment Apply:
