Warehouse Worker required in Portsmouth

My client is seeking a full-time employee Warehouse Worker. The role may begin as soon as possible following interviews and the completion of security clearance, which generally takes about four weeks to complete, starting at the time of the offer.

The job will involve warehouse work such as picking, goods in, cycle counting, and some computer work on our system to book in and process orders. The employee will also be expected to go out in the van and make onsite deliveries to JIT systems and a few external customers.

The warehouse is a small 3-person team based at the Portsmouth Dockyard.

The position is 40 hours per week, Monday – Friday 07:30 – 16:00 with a paid break in the morning of 15 minutes and an unpaid ½ hour lunch break. Employees receive 25 days holiday plus bank holidays. Salary is £(phone number removed) k.

• At least 2 years of warehouse experience.
• Willing to learn and expand knowledge to become flexible in a small team.
• Some delivery experience.
• Happy to work on their own or in a small team.
• Computer literate.
• In date C/B license.
• Willing to travel to other sites to support if required (this will be very rare if at all).
• Dockyard security clearance desirable but not essential.
• No criminal record.
• Clean driving license.
