Forklift​/Warehouse Operative

FORKLIFT & WAREHOUSE OPERATIVE - EASTLEIGH

SRG Recruitment are looking for a highly motivated, physically fit and reliable Forklift & Warehouse Operative to join a busy warehouse and logistics operation in the Eastleigh area.

If you have previous warehouse, forklift, logistics, distribution, picking & packing or stock-handling experience, we would love to hear from you!

Working Hours

• Monday to Friday

• 7:30am - 5:00pm

• £14.24 per hour (holiday pay included in hourly rate)

• Overtime available when required

Duties & Responsibilities

• General warehouse and logistics duties

• Picking and packing customer orders

• Loading and unloading deliveries

• Moving and handling stock

• Packing stock away and maintaining an organised warehouse

• Wrapping and preparing pallets

• Operating a Forklift / Reach Truck

• Stock control and general inventory duties

• Preparing goods for dispatch and delivery

• Keeping the warehouse clean, tidy and safe

• Following Health & Safety procedures

• Eventually operating various warehouse machinery and equipment

• Potential 3.5T van deliveries as required

• Working as part of a busy warehouse and distribution team

Requirements

• Previous warehouse experience is preferred

• Forklift licence required

• Reach Truck licence is highly desirable

• Good level of physical fitness

• Reliable and hardworking attitude

• Good attention to detail

• Able to work independently and as part of a team

• Flexible approach to overtime when required

• 3.5T van driving experience/licence would be advantageous

Overtime is required when necessary, although this will not be every day and will only be when business needs require it.
