Heart of Georgia Nursing Home, a skilled nursing facility, has full‑time and PRN openings for Certified Nurse Assistants.
The CNA will interact directly with residents, providing comfort and transportation, monitoring vital signs, and assisting with activities of daily living. Successful candidates are compassionate, dependable, and energetic individuals who strive for nursing excellence, maintain high standards of integrity and ethics, and enjoy working in a team environment.
Available Hours- Full Time:
Days (7:00 AM – 3:00 PM) - Full Time:
Afternoon Shift (3:00 PM – 11:00 PM) - Full Time:
Nights (11:00 PM – 7:00 AM) - PRN: all shifts
- Assist with activities of daily living: delivering meals, turning and ambulating patients, providing hydration as ordered.
- Help patients with personal hygiene: bedpans, baths, shampoos, and showers.
- Check vital signs and record daily information in the patient’s chart.
- Assist nurses and other staff as needed.
- Adhere to professional standards, follow policies and procedures, and abide by federal, state, and local requirements.
- High School diploma or GED.
- Completion of state‑approved CNA certification or training course (must have Georgia Certification).
- Previous experience as a CNA preferred.
- Basic computer skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team and multitask.
- Good communication skills.
Pay rate is determined by years of experience.
