Hours
:
Monday-Friday, 6.25 hours per day when school is in session and one day prior to students returning to school after the summer break (181 days per school year)
Qualifications
:
- High School Diploma or its equivalent. Minimum of two years of college credit preferred.
- Previous experience working with young children in a school setting a plus.
- Must be flexible, creative, have a good sense of humor, and demonstrate strong organizational skills.
- Must be highly motivated and self-directed.
Salary and Benefits
:
In accordance with the Support Staff Collective Bargaining agreement. Starting Salary range: $18.00-$19.87/hour. Comprehensive benefits.
Responsibilities
:
- Assist students in one-to-one instruction and/or provide support for special education students in the general education classroom.
- Implement IEP goals as directed by the Special Education teacher.
- Collect data regarding student performance in the resource room and/or general education classroom.
