Shore United Bank is seeking a full-time Regulatory Monitoring Specialist to join our team. The Regulatory Monitoring Specialist is responsible for accurately reporting CRA and HMDA data collected by the Consumer, Commercial and Mortgage Operation teams; ensure that all required applicant information is documented with accuracy and integrity to comply with regulatory, bank loan policy and procedure requirements; perform various internal monitoring reviews and tests as needed;
effectively communicate with appropriate personnel and management as needed.
Essential Functions Include
- Accountable for responding to requests and inquiries from internal Compliance.
- Responsible for maintaining records and providing assigned reports on a quarterly and annual basis.
- Conducts completion of the institutions HMDA-LAR and CRA report on an annual basis.
- Ensures mandatory information is collected from loan originator to remain compliant with regulatory mandates.
- Serves as liaison with regulators, internal and external auditors as expected by Management.
- Assists in educating and training bank staff on Compliance and regulatory obligations.
- Ensures prompt and efficient delivery of support in respects to regulatory monitoring to appropriate bank personnel.
- Investigates and resolves discrepancies as needed.
- Assist in operational projects as requested by Management.
- Cooperates with, participates in, and supports the adherence to all internal policies, procedures, and practices in support of risk management and overall safety and soundness and the Company’s compliance with all regulatory requirements, e.g., Community Reinvestment Act (CRA), Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), Equal Credit Opportunity Act, etc.

Position Type/Expected Hours Of Work
- Full-time.
- Non-exempt.
- Days of Work:
Monday-Friday, roughly 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
Required Education And Experience
- High school diploma/GED equivalent.
- 1 year experience with HMDA.
- 1 year experience with CRA.
- 1 year experience within banking industry.
- The pay range for this position is $23.00 to $30.00 hourly.
- Actual compensation offered may vary from the posted hiring range based on factors such as relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, licensure requirements and/or skill level, and will be finalized at the time of offer.
