Extrusion Process Technician - 3rd Shift

Job Title

Maintains a neat, clean, orderly work area, cleaning machines, and work areas after a change/work has been completed.

Assists higher level Process Techs online/tooling changes.

Assists higher level Process Techs in starting up extrusion lines.

Assists higher level Process Techs to keep the machines running at standard and meeting Quality Assurance specifications on finished product.

Assist in higher level Process Techs in maintaining proper paperwork as required. Ensures that every machine has the correct part(s) identified as scheduled to run in the extrusion line.

Assist in higher level Process Techs in identifying correct materials and making material attachments to the extrusion machine.

Ability to operate a forklift in accordance with state and local regulations with an approved forklift license (may be working toward the license with plant H.R./training dept.).

Supports the established Quality Policy

Fulfills role as required in the documented quality system manual, directives and work instructions.

Perform and document QC measurements including visual inspection to ensure product is within specification.

Fills out production tickets with the proper information for audit station one. I.e. part number, weight of lift etc.
