Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Pennsylvania or compact state eligibility

• At least 1 year of recent experience in a Med/Surg Telemetry nursing role

• BLS certification (American Heart Association preferred)

• Strong clinical assessment, patient monitoring, and communication skills

• Ability to work night shifts and thrive in a fast-paced acute care environment
Med/Surg Telemetry RN Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, compassionate nursing care to patients in the Med/Surg Telemetry unit

• Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and responses to medical treatment

• Administer medications, treatments, and nursing interventions as prescribed

• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes

• Educate patients and families on care plans, discharge instructions, and health management

• Maintain a safe, supportive, and compliant environment for patients and staff
