Responsibilities- Visit patients at home or in long‑term care facilities.
- Provide companionship through reading, talking, writing letters, reading personal stories, or giving respite to caregivers.
- The satisfaction of bringing comfort to someone approaching the end of life.
- The chance to witness the beauty of families coming together for someone they love.
- The knowledge that you are a valued member of the hospice team.
- Knowing they are not alone.
- The chance to see a new face and share their stories.
- Caregivers can take brief breaks and return refreshed.
