Position Overview

We are seeking a Process Engineering Manager to lead and develop our engineering team while advancing the performance and reliability of our manufacturing processes. This position blends hands‑on technical problem‑solving with strategic leadership to ensure that engineering initiatives align with company goals and deliver measurable business results. The ideal candidate is a technical expert and a coach who builds systems, mentors people, and drives improvement through collaboration and data‑driven decision making.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high‑performing team of process engineers.
  • Set clear priorities and align team goals with company strategy.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives using structured problem‑solving tools such as DMAIC, FMEA, DOE, and SPC.
  • Lead cross‑functional projects that enhance quality, safety, cost, and efficiency.
  • Standardize engineering processes, tools, and documentation for consistency and speed.
  • Collaborate closely with Operations, Quality, and Production to resolve issues and implement sustainable improvements.
  • Use financial data and ROI analysis to justify and evaluate technical projects.
  • Promote a culture of teamwork, accountability, and innovation.

While performing the duties of this job the employee is occasionally exposed to work near moving mechanical parts; fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals; risk of electrical shock and vibration. The noise level in the environment is moderate.

What You’ll Bring
  • A bachelor’s degree in a STEM related discipline. At least 5 years related experience (10 or more years is preferred) and at least 2 years management experience (5 or more years is preferred).
  • Strong understanding of Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Proficiency with data analysis and engineering tools such as Excel, Minitab, JMP, or CAD.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills across all levels.
  • Proven ability to coach, delegate, and motivate a technical team.
