We’re looking for an experienced and driven Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) Specialist with a strong background in Toshiba as well as TMEIC drives systems. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical expertise, hands‑on field experience, and a solutions‑focused mindset to support, troubleshoot, and optimize VFD installations across a variety of industrial applications.

DescriptionKey Responsibilities:
- Commission, maintain, and troubleshoot Toshiba and TMEIC VFD systems in field and facility settings
- Provide technical support for VFD‑related issues, including motor control, programming, and communication interface setup
- Assist with system integration, PLC communication, and parameter tuning
- Collaborate with engineering, project, and maintenance teams to ensure efficient and reliable drive operation
- Conduct diagnostic assessments and provide recommendations for system optimization
- Train client or in‑house personnel on best practices for VFD operation and maintenance
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3–5 years of hands‑on experience with Toshiba or TMEIC VFDs (Medium Voltage and/or Low Voltage)
- Solid understanding of motor control theory and industrial electrical systems
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Familiarity with PLCs, control circuits, and network communications (Ethernet/IP, Modbus, etc.)
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
- Toshiba or TMEIC VFD factory training or certification
- Experience with other major VFD brands (e.g., Eaton, Allen Bradley, Siemens, Schneider)
- Electrical trade certification, engineering, or engineering technologist background
- Excellent communication skills and a customer‑first mindset
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel as needed
