Position: Fall 2026 Engineering Co-Op - Eaton, OH

Support manufacturing through CAD drawings, process improvements, 3D printing, tool testing, and mechanical troubleshooting. Requires strong design, communication, and time‑management skills.

Essential Functions
  • Work with plant engineering to draw cellular manufacturing layouts.
  • Manage and operate 3D printers.
  • Use CAD to create process prints for manufacturing.
  • Create tooling drawings for various manufacturing processes.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing and lean engineers on plant process‑improvement activities.
  • Complete tool testing.
  • Troubleshoot and fix complex mechanical systems.
  • Demonstrate a good understanding of design process.
  • Produce assemblies and drawings complete with BOM.
  • Apply good project‑management and communication skills.
  • Work effectively independently and in a team setting.
  • Complete other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0.
  • Currently enrolled as a sophomore, junior, senior, or master’s program student.
  • Major: all mechanical engineering majors.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
