The City of Eaton announces an open competitive Civil Service examination on Saturday, Jan. 31, 2026, at 8 a.m., at Fire Station No. 2, 391 West Lexington Road, Eaton, Ohio to establish an eligibility list for two (2) Public Maintenance Division positions of Maintenance Worker in the Department of Service. Responsibilities include a variety of semi-skilled and unskilled tasks to maintain and upkeep City streets and other City properties.

Compensation will be based on qualifications and experience; pay range is from $19.40 to $27.90 per hour. Credit for Military Service and for Reserve Component Status considered.
