Your day‑to‑day as a Shelter Monitor – Domestic Violence Services
As a new Shelter Monitor, you can expect a dynamic and impactful daily routine. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Providing a welcoming atmosphere for residents.
- Ensuring safety protocols are followed.
- Offering support to individuals as they navigate their challenges.
- Assisting with intake processes.
- Maintaining shelter cleanliness.
- Documenting incidents or resident concerns as necessary.
Engaging with residents compassionately and professionally will be essential, as you help create a supportive community environment.
Schedule
Your expected schedule will include three shifts from Monday to Friday, from 3:30 PM to 12:00 AM, along with mandatory availability on Saturday and Sunday. This role requires a commitment to being present and responsive, making each day an opportunity for meaningful interaction and assistance.
