Overview
Summary:
Lead manufacturing and process engineering activities within the facility primarily by planning, coordinating, and supervising engineers and staff. Work closely with manufacturing supervisors and managers to ensure all project/customer requirements are met while accomplishing production goals. Responsible for meeting project deadlines.
- Lead cross‑functional teams and manage all manufacturing engineering activities and projects
- Prioritize projects for the team and communicate recommendations and status through the organization
- Assign and supervise tasks; review results; seek improvement when necessary (accuracy, quality, timeliness, performance)
- Create, monitor, and update appropriate metrics for presentation to senior leaders
- Lead level 0 and 1 projects by determining and meeting project milestones and deadlines
- Provide technical support to improve safety, quality, productivity and financial performance
- Monitor and document project statuses
- Define and create controlled documents
- Create/refine manufacturing requirements and methods
- Coach, mentor, and train engineers, staff, and others to increase their manufacturing knowledge, use of Lean principles, and cGMP
- Teams with the development team to develop and enhance processes and products from conception through validation
- Provide input to company strategic planning
- Lead problem solving and RCA activities for commercial production support
- Evaluate plant equipment and automation to develop recommendations for process improvements in capability, productivity, and quality
- Other duties as assigned

- Sound understanding of pricing principles and experience with pricing models and systems

- Ability to plan, organize and implement tasks with successful and timely results

Salary range of $95,000 to $110,000 DOE
