Industrial Maintenance Mechanic

Job : MMF-NJ

Location: Eatontown, NJ area

Pay: $45- $50/hr + Overtime + full employee benefits

1st shift: Mon to Fri 5:30am-4pm

In this role you will be responsible for repairing, installing, and conducting preventive maintenance on all automated food production equipment. The Industrial Mechanic will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain all aspects of our production equipment – both hands on mechanical and electrical skills needed.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 4 years of hands on industrial maintenance/electrical experience required
• Installation, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of 3-phase and single-phase electrical equipment
• Experience with various types of AC and DC electrical equipment (pumps, motors, VFDs, etc)
• Installation, operation, maintenance, and inspection of diverse mechanical equipment
• Inspection of machinery, conducting necessary tests, and completion of all required reports and paperwork for company records
• PLC troubleshooting experience required
• Hands on mechanical and electrical troubleshooting experience
• Familiarity with food-safe lubricants for various machines and execution of necessary lubrication of production machines as instructed
• Practical knowledge of automated packaging equipment, including repairs and preventive maintenance as needed
• Practical knowledge of automated food processing equipment, including repairs and preventive maintenance as needed
• Ability to lift 50 pounds
• Strong communication, computer, and math skills
• Compliance with plant safety rules, regulations, and proper use of personal protective equipment

Our facility’s production days are:
Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays – Mondays and Tuesdays are for completing preventive maintenance and addressing any maintenance work resulting from issues that emerged earlier in the week. Saturdays and Sundays may be required as needed, depending on outstanding work orders. This position requires overtime
