Non-Certified Nurse Aide

Overview

Join our team as a Non‑Certified Nursing Aide at Genesis Healthcare. The role is based at Jersey Shore Center, Eatontown, NJ 07724. Students must live within 10 minutes of the site, attend all classes, work shifts 7A‑3P, and work every other weekend. Classes begin early February. For immediate hire, schedule a time on the recruiter’s calendar.

Base pay range: $17.00
/hr.

Under the direction of a licensed nurse, you will deliver efficient and effective patient care while achieving positive clinical outcomes and patient/family satisfaction. You will also perform various patient care activities and related non‑professional services essential to the personal needs and comfort of patients.

• Assist patients with their Activities of Daily Living (ADL)
• Obtain and record vital signs and weights per policy
• Assist patients with ambulation and transfers
• Position patients in correct body alignment in and out of bed

Certification from a state‑approved certified nursing assistant program must be obtained within four months of hire.

• Certification from a state‑approved certified nursing assistant program must be obtained within four months of hire.
• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand spoken English to ensure the safety and well‑being of patients and visitors in response to their medical and physical needs.
• Must have basic knowledge of computers and a willingness to learn.
