Under the direction of the foreperson, paving equipment operators will operate various road construction equipment safely and efficiently. Equipment includes, but is not limited to, asphalt paver, paver screed, steel drum roller, rubber tire roller, skid steer, shaping tractor, power broom, and plate tampers.

This is a full‑time seasonal position from May through November (weather permitting). The role requires overtime and some Saturdays, with local and regional travel opportunities.

• One or more years operating road construction equipment or a technical school degree in Heavy Equipment Operation (e.g., asphalt paver, paver screed, steel drum roller).
• Minimum age 18.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to obtain a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) if required.
• Physical ability to work in all seasonal weather and environmental conditions in a moving highway work zone.
• Team player who can listen, take direction, and help train less experienced employees.
