The Project Manager is responsible for oversight of various projects including developing bids/estimates, maintaining operational aspects in line with the budget; managing vehicles, equipment, materials, and tooling; customer relationships; planning and overseeing project start‑up and closures; and performing risk management activities including safety and asset accountability.
EssentialJob Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers' personnel and third‑party representatives on the site.
- Collaborate with the General Foreman on budget and scheduling issues.
- Coordinate with the General Foreman regarding subcontractors' schedules and tool/equipment acquisition.
- Develop project‑specific safety plans and provide safety training/prerequisites.
- Document all customer communications.
- Develop project schedules in collaboration with the General Foreman.
- Track schedule progress and provide updates.
- Identify variances from baseline and collaborate with the General Foreman to develop remedies.
- Communicate schedule updates and remedies to the customer for approval.
- Develop project budget, track budget, and identify over/under budget areas.
- Collaborate with the General Foreman and Quality Department on quality metrics.
- Perform other duties related to project management as needed.
