Responsibilities
The Mayo Clinic Health System Department of Radiology in Eau Claire, WI is seeking fellowship trained Diagnostic Radiologists to join a growing 18 person highly functioning, collaborative group of radiologists. Our radiologists enjoy collegial relationships with referring providers resulting in growth and innovation of our clinical practice. The Sonnentag Sports Medicine and Imaging Center housing 2 MRIs as well as the addition of a PET/CT at our hospital campus opened in 2024, further increasing our high end imaging and subspecialization.
Educational opportunities with Mayo Clinic Health System Family Medicine Residents, Emergency Physician Advanced Practice Providers and Mayo Clinic Rochester Radiology residents are intermittently available. Our ties with University of Wisconsin Eau Claire continues to strengthen affording radiologists elective research collaboration with students and faculty. Other responsibilities include monthly interdisciplinary conferences, departmental peer review, and committee involvement. You may expect a growing practice in a physician led, financially stable organization, committed to both high quality patient care and patient satisfaction.
- Fellowship training and board eligibility or certification required.
- Abdominal Imaging fellowship - or experience in high level body reads is desired.
- Cardiothoracic Imaging fellowship - or experience in high level body reads is desired.
- All subspecialty trained radiologists are encouraged to apply.
- 30 to 50% of your practice within your subspecialty.
- Strong general skills needed for general, hospital and ER imaging.
- ER/hospital shift coverage until 8 pm M-F and 4 pm on weekends. Weekend shifts split evenly amongst group.
- Outreach shift 1-2 times per month.
