Responsibilities
Our Tax Senior opening is hybrid and will serve healthcare and for-profit medical practice clients.
Responsibilities:
Communicate with client and firm associate requests in a timely, accurate, positive and professional mannerEstablish and maintain effective client relationships through regular communications, including on-site visitsAdhere to prescribed budgets and deadlinesDevelop technical competency and assist clientsParticipate in continuing professional education programsServe as a trusted business advisor for clients and associatesProactively identify improvement opportunities in processes to enhance efficiency, recognize potential issues and/or opportunities in engagements and discuss with engagement leaderUse data analysis skills to discover useful information and patterns to provide support in recommendationsTax Specific
Provide medical practice clients tax compliance services and proactive tax consultations on individual, C corporation, S corporation, and partnership engagements in accordance with firm and professional standards as directed by engagement leadersPartner with clients to provide customized tax advisory services and work closely with other tax team members to identify and research complex tax issues.Grow into a deep industry expertise focused on the medical practice space.Understand and effectively use current tax and accounting software applicationsResearch tax related issues and other related financial reportsKnowledge,
Skills and AbilitiesQualifications:
Bachelors degree in accounting or a related fieldCPA certification preferred. Candidates actively pursuing CPA certification will be considered.3-4 years of related experiencePrior experience in healthcare tax preferredAbility to plan, prioritize, and organize work many projects simultaneously under pressure and time deadlinesAbility to analyze data and recommend solutionsStrong verbal and written communication skillsAmanda Feltner, from our recruiting team, will be guiding you through this process.
