• The EMG Technician will perform nerve conductions and assist the provider with the EMG portion of the procedure.
• The EMG Technician will provide accurate and efficient evaluation of this information and also perform clerical duties as necessary to support the department.
• Provides care that meets the psychosocial, physical and general aspects of care; meets the communication needs of patient and family.
• Maintains regulatory requirements, nursing and clinic policies, procedures and standards.
• Communicates with physicians and team members about patient's condition, including results of diagnostic studies and symptomatology.

• Completion of an approved EMG program or equivalent experience in neurosciences.
• Two year degree in Neurodiagnostics or related field is required.

• Demonstrates competency in the EMG Technician role.
• Ability to monitor and analyze EMG and other neurophysiology wave patterns.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to read and communicate effectively in English. Demonstrates skills in leadership, problem-solving, continuous improvement, verbal and written communication and team building.
• Basic improvement concepts and techniques.
• Flexibility in order to accommodate patient/department needs.

• Current BLS certification.

PRN - Every other Tuesday and Wednesday (2nd and 4th weeks of the month) 6:30am - 4:00pm. Will travel to Barron and Menomonie Wisconsin.
