Job Summary
The Sleep Lab Supervisor supports leadership with the management of staff and the day-to-day operations. The individual is accountable to deliver established goals, utilize good judgment to assess and elevate situations when warranted and utilize knowledge and skills in the areas of expertise while maintaining expected quality standards within the services. The Sleep Lab Supervisor must act as leader by building constructive relationships, supporting leadership in developing, setting and executing service goals and the strategic plan in accordance with Marshfield Clinic Health System’s (MCHS) mission statement.
JobQualifications Education
For positions requiring education beyond a high school diploma or equivalent, educational qualifications must be from an institution whose accreditation is recognized by the Council for Higher Education and Accreditation.

Required:
None
Preferred/Optional:
Graduate of a CAAHEP (Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs) accredited polysomnographic technology program; and Associate degree in supervision, management or related field.
Minimum
Required:
Five years’ experience as a polysomnographic technologist and three years’ of demonstrated leadership experience.
Preferred/Optional:
Seven years’ experience as a polysomnographic technologist and five years’ experience in a supervisory role in a sleep lab.
The following licensure(s), certification(s), registration(s), etc., are required for this position. Licenses with restrictions are subject to review to determine if restrictions are substantially related to the position.

Certification by the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (BRPT) as a registered polysomnographic technologist (RPSGT)

None
