Senior Recruiter / Connector / Live Music Junkie

The QTI Group is partnering with a fast-growing manufacturer in the Chippewa Valley to hire an experienced Human Resources Manager to drive strategic and operational HR initiatives. Supporting around 300 employees, you will serve as a hands‑on HR leader to shape employee experience while managing day‑to‑day HR operations. You will play a critical part in leading cultural transformation, supporting rapid growth, and fostering employee development.

pay range

$/yr - $/yr

Compensation: $110,000 - $120,000 + bonus, plus comprehensive benefits package.

Location: Fully on-site in the Chippewa Valley area of Wisconsin.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and develop a team of three HR professionals.
  • Drive cultural initiatives by serving as a champion for programs that strengthen engagement and integrate a bilingual workforce.
  • Implement strategies for leadership development and internal talent growth.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to managers and employees, resolving issues and promoting a positive work environment.
  • Oversee full cycle recruiting and onboarding processes.
  • Lead compliance and risk management, ensuring adherence to employment laws and company policies (EEO, ADA, FMLA, OSHA, WC, etc.).
  • Serve as an advisor and resource for biweekly payroll processing and benefits administration.
  • Lead benefits strategy and manage relationships with benefit brokers and partners.
  • Partner with the Safety Manager to support site safety initiatives, workers’ compensation, and return‑to‑work programs.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, HR or related field.
  • 5+ years of progressively more responsible HR experience, ideally in manufacturing.
  • Proven ability to lead HR teams and drive cultural and employee development initiatives.
  • Strong knowledge of employment law, compliance, payroll, and benefits.
  • Familiarity with self‑insured benefits plans is a plus.
  • Excellent communication, relationship‑building, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, growth‑oriented environment.
