Milling Machinist - Weekend Shift

This position is eligible for a $3,000.00 Sign On Bonus.

Weekend Day Shift: Friday - Sunday 6AM - 6:30PM + 17% Shift Pay and Benefits Eligible Position.

In this role, the MILLING MACHINIST will operate CNC machines and measure quality characteristics.

• Read and understand blueprints, job routings, setup sheets, and charts for dimensions, tolerances, and tooling instructions.
• Load and set tools, understanding run‑out, tool length stick‑outs, and proper holder based on tool function.
• Position and secure tools in tool holders on turret and cross slide.
• Ensure correct program is in place and load/unload programs.
• Recognize, understand, and properly adjust dull or chipped tooling.
• Set and adjust work offsets, tool wear lengths, and cutter compensation.
• Adjust work‑shift offsets of tools at each station.
• Operate more than one machine where cycle time permits.
• Document quality control characteristics on tolerance zones specified on blueprints.
• Operate machine tools and machine with supervision.
• Straighten parts per work instructions or setup sheets.
• Other miscellaneous duties as assigned.

• Associate Degree in machining.
• 0–2 years of CNC machining experience.
• Listening, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Ability to read blueprints.
• Knowledge of GD&T principles.
• Ability to multi‑task, prioritize, adapt to shifting priorities, and meet deadlines.
• Must be able to work in other areas on an as‑needed basis.
• Organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to collaborate and work well with others.
• Show initiative in work by being a self‑starter, suggesting new ideas for completing a job, giving input as to how to improve the efficiency of a job, and organizing work time in order to complete jobs in a timely manner.

$3,000.00 Sign On Bonus – This Sign On Bonus will be paid out in two payments: $1,500.00 will be paid out after completing 90 calendar days of employment, and the remaining $1,500.00 after completing 180 days of employment.
