Designer (Entry Level)
Location:
Eau Claire, WI (Hybrid)
Duration: 6 Months contract with possible extensions
Pay Rate: $28-30/hr. on W2
Filed Travel: :30%
Overview:
Seeking a Designer to support electric distribution projects for new and existing customers. The role involves system design, field assessments, and coordination with internal teams using GIS-based tools.
- Design electric distribution systems (transformers, underground cabling, pole placement).
- Create and revise 2D/3D drawings and design documentation.
- Prepare bills of material, schedules, and drawing transmittals.
- Coordinate with engineering and project teams.
- Basic electrical knowledge preferred.
- Ability to read engineering drawings and blueprints.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- GIS or AutoCAD experience is a plus.
