Setup Swiss/Turn Machinist, 2nd shift, shift pay, sign on bonus

This position is eligible for a $3,000.00 Sign On Bonus, paid in two installments of $1,500.00 after 90 and 180 days of employment.

Base pay + 10% Shift Pay.

2nd shift:
Monday-Thursday 3:15PM - 1:45AM plus overtime as needed.

• Set up and operate a variety of machines to perform machining operations defined in job routings.
• Run and set up a variety of different machines.
• Read and understand blueprints, job routings, set‑up sheets, and charts outlining dimensions, tolerances, tooling instructions, holding fixtures, cutting speeds, feed rates, and tools.
• Load and set tools, determine run‑out, tool length stick‑outs, and choose proper holders.
• Recognize, adjust, or replace dull or chipped tooling.
• Set and adjust work offsets, tool wear lengths, and cutter compensation.
• Adjust work shift offsets of tools at each station.
• Run multiple machines where cycle time permits.
• Document quality control characteristics of tolerance zones specified on blueprints.
• Straighten parts per work instructions or set‑up sheets.
• Perform other miscellaneous duties as assigned.

Associate Degree in machining or equivalent experience.

• Minimum 2–5 years of CNC machining experience.
• Listening, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Ability to read blueprints.
• Knowledge of GD&T principles.
• Ability to multi‑task, prioritize, adapt to shifting priorities, and meet deadlines.
• Must be able to work in other areas as needed.
• Organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to collaborate and work well with others.
• Show initiative; self‑starter, suggest new ideas, improve efficiency, organize work time.
