Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON)

Schedule:
Full‑Time Monday‑Friday
Pay: $30.00 per hour
The Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) plays a key leadership role in supporting the health and safety of residents through high‑quality clinical care, teamwork, and compassionate service. The ADON assists with assessments, medication management oversight, staff support, and ongoing monitoring of resident care needs while helping ensure regulatory and policy compliance. This role requires professionalism, strong communication skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with residents, families, and team members.
Qualifications- Current and active LPN license in the State of Wisconsin (required)
- Prior experience in assisted living, memory care, home health, or long‑term care preferred
- Strong organizational, problem‑solving, and clinical judgment skills
- Compassionate, resident‑focused approach with a passion for serving seniors
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative leadership team
- Assist with resident assessments and monitor changes in condition; report findings to the DON as appropriate
- Support implementation and ongoing review of service plans and care needs
- Maintain accurate and timely resident records and clinical documentation
- Communicate changes in resident status to physicians, families, and leadership
- Assist with coordination of resident services with internal and external care providers
- Support safe and accurate medication administration and documentation in accordance with regulations and facility policy
- Participate in review of medication records for accuracy and compliance
- Monitor vital signs, weights, and other health indicators as assigned
- Provide guidance and support to Resident Assistants regarding resident care procedures
- Participate in new employee clinical orientation and ongoing training as directed
- Model and promote a positive, team‑oriented work environment
- Participate in on‑call or emergency response support as assigned
- Assist in maintaining compliance with state, federal, and licensing regulations
- Attend meetings and trainings as scheduled and support continuous quality improvement
Triage Support: Our Triage Team provides coverage from 6:00 PM-8:00 AM on weekdays and 24/7 on weekends
