Cath Lab RN – Quick Overview
Certs: BLS, ACLS
Local Rate:
Within 80 miles (–$8/hr)
Labs: 2 | Cases: ~6/day
Patients:
Coronary, IR, and Vascular procedures (no EP in Eau Claire)
Duties:
Sedate, monitor, and circulate cases (no scrubbing required)
Experience:
Sedation & reversal knowledge; cardiac drips/medications
EMR:
Cerner, Merge
Schedule:
Mon–Thu 0630–1700
Call:
Weeknights M–Th 1700–0630
Weekends Fri–Sun 0630–0630
Holidays as needed | 30-min response
Coverage Notes: STEMI divert ~10 days/month; IR call ~10 days/month (single IR provider)
Floating:
Occasional 1:1 sitter assistance
Scrubs:
Hospital-provided (light blue)
Orientation: CBTs day 1; complete first week + binder check-off
Important:
Prior Marshfield employment must be disclosed (6-month gap required)
