Are you ready to join a dynamic team and play a crucial role in shaping the future of material handling? We are actively seeking Field Service Technicians to join our Eau Claire location, servicing customers in the Superior area. Field Service Technicians travel to customer locations to repair powered industrial equipment, such as forklift trucks, aerial equipment, and floor cleaning equipment.
Technicians are provided with a company service van, service laptop, iPad, credit card, and cell phone. We have internal support staff, along with free technical training through our factory-certified in-house trainers, and in-the-field technical support.

- Complete all service jobs that are assigned to you.
- Communicate with the Road Lead Technician on any unusual service problems or for technical assistance.
- Attend service training classes to maintain knowledge on new products or refreshers.
- Complete and submit all paperwork daily for jobs worked on (timecards, maintenance reports with customer signatures).
- Communicate with dispatcher and/or service office about status of jobs and availability for new jobs.
- Identify jobs that should be sent to the shop for repair due to complexity or safety reasons and recommend they be sent in.
- Develop and maintain relationships with territory sales representatives to keep them informed of sales opportunities you might see.
- Always adhere to safety rules and policies at all times.
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience repairing forklift trucks and/or other equipment, including gas, diesel, and electric trucks.
- Must successfully complete any required training courses.
- Strong customer orientation.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Time management: ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.
- Basic computer proficiency and laptop fundamentals.
- Own tools necessary to perform repairs, per our recommended tool list.
- Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
- Must be certified to operate material handling equipment (training provided).

Physical demands: Employee frequently lifts up to 50 pounds, occasionally up to 75 pounds, and rarely up to 100 pounds. Frequent standing, kneeling, walking, twisting, reaching, and operating machinery. Occasional sitting, stooping, crouching, climbing, and crawling. Constant use of hands and fingers. Specific vision abilities include close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Must have listening, speaking, and writing skills to communicate with customers and the service office.
