Overview
Job Summary:
Assists with managing daily golf operations, including tracking and coordinating play, supervising golf staff, merchandising, managing tournaments, providing lessons, and delivering other professional services. Supervises and trains Locker Room Attendants. Serves as the Caddie Manager, overseeing caddie scheduling, training, and performance to ensure exceptional service standards are consistently met.

- Assists with providing on-the-job training and development of assigned personnel. Communicates job and Club policy and procedure orientation for all new hires.
- Assists with communicating to assigned personnel their work responsibilities and extent of their authority, as well as all policy and procedural changes, so they may proceed with certainty in the performance of their responsibility.
- Assists with developing a working climate in which assigned personnel are motivated to perform up to their full potential and demonstrates by personal example the desired standards of conduct and work performance.
- Ensures prompt response to employee formal or informal harassment allegation or if hears of potential harassment related to race, color, religion, gender (including sexual harassment), sexual orientation, national origin, age or disability. Inform Sr Golf Pro immediately.
- Alerts Sr. Assistant Golf Pro to any employee relations issues or potential issues.
- Assists with supervising and managing golf operations in a professional and efficient manner.
- Assists with conducting all tournaments and initiating and promoting golf activities for members and guests.
- Assists with the recording and charging golf car fees.
- Assists in the enforcement of established Club rules.
- Assists in maintaining the golf shop in clean and presentable condition.
- Assists with proper charging of green fees.
- Provides competent golf instruction.
- Supervises the operation of a handicap system.
- Preparing and assists in distributing event information sheets for participants.
- Assists with juniors/children golf programs.
- Assists with the supervision of the golf practice areas.
- Answers phone in a courteous and helpful manner. Returns member calls and answers their questions.
- Assists with tracking rounds and caddie loops daily, which is used for the monthly Golf Pro Report.
- Recruit, train, and manage a team of caddies to meet club service standards.
- Create and maintain daily caddie schedules based on events, and member requests.
- Communicate with golf shop and outside operations staff to ensure smooth coordination of caddie assignments.
- Maintains accurate records of caddie loops, pay, and performance evaluations.
- Oversees the cleanliness, maintenance, and organization of the locker room facilities, including showers, and restrooms.
- Supervise and schedule men's locker room attendants to ensure proper coverage and service, filling in shifts if necessary.
- Assists with outside services if shifts are not being filled.
- Interacts in a positive and cooperative manner with members, Board of Directors, visitors, co-workers, and Managers.
- Portrays a positive image for the Club by dressing appropriately for the position.
- Maintains a safe work environment for self and others. Presents and/or attends mandatory safety training sessions and adheres to Club and OSHA safety requirements.
- Ensures confidentiality of all Club members and employee information and records.
- Maintains appropriate levels in the areas of daily attendance, initiative and productivity.
- Performs all other related duties as assigned.
2026 Season:
Opens May 2nd and Closes October 31st
- Compensation: $16-22 per hour
- Expected Seasonal Payroll to be $30,000 - $35,000 with Overtime
