Warehouse Team Member – Menards

Menards Distribution Center is hiring immediately for Warehouse Team Members responsible for loading, unloading, sorting, staging, and transporting products into and out of the Distribution Center.

• 1st Shift (approximately 6‑7 am to 2‑3 pm)
• 2nd Shift (approximately 3‑4 pm to 11‑12 pm)
• 3rd Shift (approximately 10‑11 pm to 6‑7 am)

• Follow Menards safety policies and procedures.
• Safely operate forklift or other machinery.
• Work cooperatively and productively with other Team Members under little supervision.
• Load trucks according to cubic weight, size, and characteristics.
• Provide outstanding service with attention to detail and complete tasks in a timely manner.
• Maintain the condition of the work area (e.g., free of trash, products in correct locations).
• Perform safety checks of powered industrial vehicles prior to operation.
• Locate product in the warehouse using manifest or scanning system.
• Use hand‑held scanning equipment to add or subtract product from inventory.
• Record the quantity of product actually loaded onto the manifest system.
• Ensure accuracy of the load by verifying quantity with computer inquiry screens.
• Transport product from production/receiving areas using powered industrial vehicle.
• Perform additional duties assigned by Distribution Center Management.

• Requires intermittent periods of continuous physical exertion such as walking, standing, stooping, bending, climbing, and lifting.
• Environment may include temperature fluctuations (hot/cold), noise, dust, and uneven walking surfaces.
• Lift up to 50 lbs frequently; 70 lbs occasionally.

• Must be eighteen years of age or older.
• Warehouse experience preferred but not required.
