A well-regarded, inclusive Additional Learning Needs (ALN) school in Ebbw Vale is seeking caring and proactive Support Workers to join its team. Support Workers will work closely with a small number of pupils with a range of complex needs. You’ll help them access learning, develop independence, and thrive in a supportive, inclusive school environment.
Key Responsibilities- Provide tailored support to children and young people with ALN
- Encourage independence and inclusion in daily school activities
- Support personal care needs where required
- Collaborate effectively with teachers and colleagues as part of a team
- Maintain a patient, nurturing approach to support learning and wellbeing
- Experience supporting children or young people with ALN
- Patient, compassionate, and nurturing approach
- Commitment to promoting independence and inclusion
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Comfortable supporting personal care needs
- Enhanced Adult and Child DBS on the Update System (essential)
- Excellent daily rates paid via PAYE
