Learning Support Assistant (1:1) – Mainstream Primary School, Newport

Teacher Active is delighted to partner with a mainstream primary school in Newport, renowned for its commitment to supporting children with additional learning needs (ALN). The school prides itself on providing exceptional care and tailored support to all its pupils.

We are seeking a compassionate and patient Learning Support Assistant (LSA) with proven one-to-one experience to join the team. This role involves offering dedicated support to children with ALN, as well as assisting within the wider classroom environment. The position is full-time during standard school hours, from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm.

Key Responsibilities:

Providing one-to-one and group support to children, particularly those with additional learning needs
Supporting effective classroom management and positive learning environments
Demonstrating a caring, nurturing, and patient approach to all pupils
