We are looking for an experienced SEN Teacher to join our fantastic SEN School in Ebbw Vale. Our school caters to 4-19 year olds with a range of ALN, including SLCN, PMLD, ASD and SEMH. Our school is highly inclusive where students and staff all feel welcome and valued. Staff build strong,

- Hold a Qualified Teaching Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Be an encouraging and dependable individual who brings calm and stability to demanding moments
- Have a clear drive to work within a specialist SEN environment and supporting pupils with ALN
- Have a coherent and in-depth understanding of ALN and how to cater to them via independent learning plans
- Registration with the Education Workforce Council (EWC)
- Hold a Child and Adult Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
The role involves creating a calm, nurturing, and highly structured environment for pupils who may present with behavioural, social communication, or emotional regulation needs. Applicants should have experience using positive behaviour support, trauma‑informed approaches, or therapeutic strategies that promote wellbeing and inclusion
.
