Teacher Active is proud to be working with a specialist residential education setting in Blaenau Gwent that provides a supportive and structured environment for young people with additional social, emotional and behavioural needs. The setting is committed to helping students achieve both academically and personally through a nurturing and inclusive approach.

The provision is looking to take on a dedicated ICT Teacher on a temporary to permanent basis starting from September. The successful ICT Teacher will deliver engaging ICT lessons across KS3 and KS4, supporting students within a residential care environment while promoting confidence, engagement and positive learning outcomes.

• QTS with an ICT specialism
• Experience teaching ICT up to Key Stage 4 / KS4
• Experience working with students with SEMH or additional behavioural needs desirable
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• The ability to build positive relationships with students
• A patient, resilient and adaptable approach
