Salary: £92.58 per day (DOE)

Are you a dedicated and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant looking to make a positive impact in a specialist educational environment? Our client, a leading provider of support for children with special educational needs, is seeking a passionate individual to join a vibrant team in Ebbw Vale. This is a full-time, long-term role where you'll work closely with teachers to create an inclusive and nurturing learning space.

• Provide general classroom support to students with diverse additional needs
• Collaborate with class teachers to foster a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment
• Support students with challenging behaviours and tailored learning programmes
• Assist with the planning and delivery of individualised educational activities
• Promote independence and social development among pupils
• Manage behaviour effectively and sensitively to ensure a conducive learning atmosphere

• Proven experience working as a SEN Teaching Assistant or in a similar role
• Knowledge of various additional learning needs and behavioural management strategies
• Ability to work collaboratively with staff, pupils, and parents
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Enthusiastic and patient approach to supporting children with special educational needs
• Flexibility to work full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30 am – 3:30 pm
