Teacher Active is happy to be working with a private nursery located in Cwmbran. The nursery treats every child as an individual and provides care for all whilst creating a safe, secure and caring environment where children will feel happy, relaxed and confident.

The nursery is looking to take on a nursery assistant who is filled with charisma and is resilient and active upon getting fully involved with supporting young children with their learning. The successful candidate will be working closely with a professional team on a full time temporary basis, leading to a potential permanent role for the right nursery assistant. You will be working between the hours of 8am - 5pm and daily tasks will involve you being responsible for leading activities such as play work, reading, storytelling and arts and craft throughout the day ensuring an interactive teaching style.

The successful Nursery Assistant will have:

• A minimum of 6 months experience in an educational establishment OR a childcare qualification
• Ability to get stuck in with the children creating a fun learning environment for all
• A caring, positive approach to working with young children
• A good knowledge of the EYFS and Child Protection / Safeguarding procedures
