Aboutthe role
As a Support Worker, you’ll play a pivotal role in our commitment to providing comprehensive care and support. Your responsibilities will include facilitating the delivery of assessed care and support, ensuring that dignity and self-esteem are upheld throughout. You’ll actively engage individuals in decision-making processes, nurturing their autonomy and empowerment. Managing challenging behaviours will be a part of your role, creating a nurturing environment that supports individual growth.
Encouraging participation in social activities and community engagement will be pivotal in promoting holistic well-being. Additionally, your contribution to care and service planning, attendance at meetings, and valuable insights during care reviews will be integral. Upholding confidentiality is paramount, recognising and honouring the vulnerability of individuals under your care.
This position offers the chance to positively impact vulnerable adults within the community. You’ll have the opportunity to apply your intuition and expertise in effectively supporting people, guiding them towards achieving independence.
