The Wonder of Wellbeing Gower is looking for a Creative Practitioner

We are looking for a Creative Practitioner to join the Wonder of Wellbeing Project. Working in partnership with the project’s established Creative Practitioner, you will design and deliver engaging events, activities, and services that support this innovative ministry.

This includes the development of resources for spiritual growth relating to wellbeing, nature and the outdoors to foster meaningful encounters with Jesus and contribute to the growth of the Church.

You will work closely with the Wellbeing Project Lead, Faith & Wellbeing Guide, and volunteers to achieve the project’s missional and strategic objectives, ensuring all activities align with the vision and strategy of Gower Ministry Area.

Closing Date: 5pm on Monday 26th October 2026

Interviews: Monday 2nd November 2026

Salary: FTE £31,231.20 (£24,985 pro rata)

Contract type: Part-time

Hours: 28 hours per week – The role requires flexibility and will include occasional evening and weekend working, arranged in advance.

Location: Primarily based across the Gower, with administrative duties undertaken at the Gower Ministry Area Office, St Hilary’s Hall, Killay, or from home by agreement.

Job description
  • Design and deliver the project’s wellbeing events and services, creating tailored sessions for user groups through partnership development.
  • To design and deliver the Prayerful Practice events and services of the project.
  • To create resources for spiritual growth relating to wellbeing, nature and the outdoors.
  • Ensure that resources and staffing are in place to meet the need of the project sessions.
  • Provide a safe environment for all staff, volunteers and service users in the project wellbeing sessions.
  • Assist with the development of the project’s online community.
  • Provide all data and feedback to enable reporting on the project to stakeholders.
