South Wales / Poole, Dorset (Site Based)

Have you managed construction projects within a main contractor environment? Do you have experience delivering industrial, manufacturing or food factory projects? Are you looking for a long-term contract opportunity with potential for up to 24 months of work?

• £55ph Outside IR35
• Initial 612 month contract with potential to extend up to 24 months
• Opportunity to work on major food manufacturing projects
• Long-term contract with a leading engineering and construction organisation

• Managing the delivery of new food manufacturing facility projects from site.
• Overseeing subcontractors, programme, quality and project costs.
• Coordinating site activities to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and to specification.
• Managing client relationships and attending regular progress meetings.
• Ensuring compliance with HSE requirements and site procedures.
• Supporting project reporting, commercial management and documentation.

You ll be joining a leading engineering and construction business delivering complex industrial projects across the UK. With a strong reputation across the food, manufacturing and process sectors, the company provides end-to-end solutions for major clients, from initial design through to project delivery. Due to continued growth, they are looking for experienced Project Managers to support the delivery of large-scale food manufacturing facilities.

• Proven experience managing projects.
• Experience working for a main contractor or principal contractor.
• Background delivering industrial, manufacturing, FMCG or food factory projects.
• Understanding of JCT contracts;
  Cost Plus experience would be advantageous.
• SMSTS certification.
• Strong HSEQ awareness.
• Project management qualification (APM, PRINCE2 or equivalent) desirable.
