SMT Operators

VIBE Recruit is looking for a motivated individual to support our fast growing client based in Cwmbran. You will have a key role in ensuring customers' orders are ready on time and with care.

Shifts:

Days:
Mon-Fri 5.30am-3pm

Afternoons: 2.30pm-Midnight

Salary: 15.92

Responsibilities:

• Load and unload materials onto the SMT machines.
• Operate and monitor SMT machines during the assembly process.
• Troubleshoot and resolve machine-related issues to minimise downtime.
• Monitor the SMT process to identify and address any defects or issues.
• Work closely with other team members, including engineers and quality control personnel, to achieve production goals and resolve issues.
• Maintain accurate records of production activities, including machine settings, production counts, and quality control data.

Skills:

• Machine operating experience,
• Strong attention to detail
• Can handle handling small electronic components
• Ability to work well in a team
• Electronics industry knowledge or qualification are desirable
