Main Purpose of Role

Role out the direction/plan issued by the Cell Leader or Supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Organise daily work for operators.
• Understand cell output requirements on a daily, weekly and monthly basis in line with the production plan for that cell .
• Ensure cleanliness and tidiness of the cell.
• Assist with the job training of operators within the cells
• Ability to undertake certain Syspro bookings
• Cover for cell leader (short term) e.g. Holiday periods.
• Capable of assessing and recording spoilage, in order to reduce costs.
• Ensure that all company operating values and compliance procedures are adhered to at all times, including quality management, health and safety, legal stipulation, environmental policies and general duty of care.
• Any other duties deemed necessary.

Person Specification Essential requirements

• Basic numeracy and literacy
• Basic computer skills
• 2 years experience within manufacturing

Salary is £28000

Hours are 6.45am until 5pm Monday to Thursday
