It produces a range of food products for retail and food service markets. The company supplies both branded and own‑label items to customers in the UK and internationally. Its operations include product development, manufacturing, and packaging within the food industry.

• A starting salary of up to £32,000
• Up to 25 days holiday plus bank holidays

• Conduct regular audits of food safety procedures and practices
• Identify and assess potential risks in the production process
• Ensure all food safety procedures are followed as per standards and regulations
• Report and document audit findings
• Recommend improvements to enhance food safety measures
• Stay updated on food safety regulations and industry trends
• Provide training and guidance to staff on food safety practices
• Maintain communication with management on food safety issues
• Prepare and present audit reports and recommendations

• Proven experience as a Food Safety Auditor or similar role
• In‑depth knowledge of food safety regulations and standards (e.g. HACCP, ISO 22000)
• Excellent observational and analytical skills
• Strong communication skills
• Detail‑oriented with a strong focus on quality
• Certification in food safety auditing is a plus
