Position: Technical Administrator - 6 Month FTC

Join Our Technical Team at The Compleat Food Group!

We're looking for a Technical Administrator to join our team in Ebbw Vale on a 6-month fixed-term contract, supporting food safety, quality and compliance across the business.

As a Technical Administrator, you'll be at the heart of our quality and food safety operations, helping to ensure our products consistently meet the highest standards. Working closely with the Technical team and colleagues across the business, you'll manage key documentation, support audits, maintain robust quality systems and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact by helping us deliver safe, high-quality products while ensuring we meet customer expectations, legal requirements and business objectives.

Working Hours:

Monday – Thursday: 8:30am – 5pm and Friday: 8:30am – 4pm

Your Duties Will Include:
  • Support the Technical team in maintaining food safety, quality and compliance standards.
  • Manage and maintain technical documentation, records and quality systems.
  • Carry out product sampling, testing and quality checks.
  • Support internal and external audits and ensure actions are completed.
  • Assist with customer complaint investigations and non-conformance management.
  • Monitor compliance with GMP, hygiene and food safety requirements.
  • Help drive continuous improvement activities across the site.
  • Promote safe working practices and maintain a clean, organised working environment.
Required

Skills and Experience:
  • Previous experience in a Technical, Quality or Food Safety role within the food manufacturing industry.
  • Experience using Quality Management Systems (QMS), including document control and technical procedures.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines.
  • A methodical approach with excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Food Safety Level 3 and HACCP Level 3.
  • Internal Auditor training or auditing experience is desirable.
